kaleidoscopes

x. You used to tell me that I inspired you,
and made you see things in another
perspective.

xx. One that was colored
in radiant blues, reds, and sometimes
a couple purples. You once said
that a kaleidoscope could be
compared to my imagination,
but it just wasn't as beautiful.

xxx. You never seemed to tire of
the same kaleidoscope. Even after
the colors started to fade, you still
told me it was as beautiful as before.
I didn't see how greys
could be pretty.
